Barefoot Artist Cafe

We were walking around a small town on Florida's Gulf Coast when the sight of these two motorcycles parked in front of this cafe caught my eye in the right way. I have no gallery for motorcycles, cafes, or benches so my gallery of "Road & Street Photography" was born. (2015)

Boats Racing On The Crooked River

There seem to be so many grand subjects around my neighborhood. This is boats racing on the Crooked River, Alanson, Michigan, USA. These races are sponsored by the Top O'Michigan Outboard Racing Club (tomorc.com) and take place in August. As we drove along M-68 in northwestern Michigan, we drove over a bridge and saw all the people lining the bridge and the boats roaring past. We parked and went back for this view. The midday colors were so vibrant and matched the action . . . (2012)

Alger Falls In Autumn

This waterfall is located immediately beside the main road south of Munising, Michigan, and near Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan's upper peninsula. Every traveler appears to stop and photograph the falls but it is a difficult one to properly capture. Though small in size, it is huge in beauty. (2013)

Hydrangea In A Window Box

Tulips By The Fence

The fence with its flowers sits along U.S. 31, the major road through the community of Bay View and along Michigan's western shore. One could never realize there is a heavy flow of traffic traveling the road between my camera and this fence. The flowers along the fence are changed between spring and summer. (2012)

The Porch At The Smithsonian House

Located near the Terrace Inn at Bay View, this is one of the more unusual houses at Bay View . . . beautifully maintained. (2013)

Tunnel Of Trees

On Hawaii's island of Kauai, this tunnel of trees can be found near the Poipu side of the island . . . and it continues over the horizon. (2011)

Plunging Into The Ocean

As the visitor drives the interesting Kahekili Highway on Hawaii's island of Kauai he will come across this section of road that appears to be taking the driver directly into the ocean, if driving in the proper direction. (2011)
