Dana Fork Tuolumne River

The water features in Yosemite National Park are outstanding by any measure and set a high bar for other National Parks. Unfortunately, if a visitor arrives much later than June 1st the rivers and waterfalls begin to diminish. We recently made a visit in September and were highly disappointed at the absence of water at many locations (snow melt being well past). Be certain to time your visit properly, i.e., if you want snow images, go during winter months; if you want water features, go in the spring. This image is in a 4x3 format only. (2014)
