Hikers Approaching The Mist Trail

The hike to the fabulous Vernal Falls is the most popular hike in Yosemite National Park. Getting to my vantage point atop the falls, it is a 1.6 mile hike from the trailhead. The last portion of the hike is on what is called The Mist Trail due to the heavy mist during the spring hike. The hike to the falls is steep. The hikers at the bottom left of this image are approaching the steeper Mist Trail section. (2016)
